They are all about the money not the service or the customer hundred bucks an hour just to diagnose

Within the 3 hours that our technician spent diagnosing and inspecting your car, at your request, we felt that the long list of items that needed attention was quite informative and comprehensive. Code for position convertible top sensor, but window regulator calibration is set to 0 (implausible), not 1(learned), so window regulator will have to be replaced before switch can be diagnosed. Rear right window wont go down, Footwell Module Replaced due to water intrusion. Right rear window regulator requires replacement.. Assess Vehicle, Inspection, test drive: Following items require attention, Timing belt Drive belt Belt tensioner Spark plugs Valve cover gasket 4 tires 235/45r17 (weather cracked) Front brake pads and rotors RF drive axle Engine mounts Trans service Replace missing screws on under panel x4 2 check valves Diag abs light (module requires replacement) Wipers Third brake light Oil dip stick tube broken We understand that you had recently acquired the vehicle and this amount of attention was not what you had anticipated. However, we feel that the time, technology, effort, and attention that goes into a job like this by a highly skilled and experienced technician coupled with our investment in tools, training, and technology that allow us to perform this level of work are fair for the price. While we perform at the dealerships level we charge 35 percent less than the nearest dealership and have a "no pressure" service advisor policy.
